League

The summer skins league is a go.

We are trying to come up with the appropriate neame for the league other than just “Summer League”.

No matter what the league name is…one thing is certain…it is the no excuses not to play league.

Here’s proof…

• Play any day of the week
• Play any time of the day
• Play Only 9 Holes
• Play All 18 Holes
• Play as many times as you like
• Play with any member of the league you want
• Dont play with people you dont like
• $10 per nine hole game…so everyone can afford it
• All low scores and ties pay out…so gross and net scorers are happy

I am working on a spreadsheet demonstration of how payouts happen…but heres an overview.

Play a regular nine holes of golf on any day of the week with any member of the club who is also participating in the league. Turn in your score along with $10 for every nine you play. At the end of the week a skins sheet is compiled. All scores are evaluated just like a normal skins game. Heres the difference…ALL LOW SCORES AND TIES ON EVERY HOLE SPLIT THE CASH….thats right…you dont have to win a hole outright to win money…

Heres the example…

32 players play one nine hole round @ SRGC during a week 

Each of the 32 Players pays $10 to the game….$9 of this money goes to prizes or $1 per hole per man. This makes each hole worth a total of $32.

• An outright skin for a player is worth $32
• Two players tie low score means the players split the cash or $16 each
• Three ties = $10 each
• Four Ties = $8 each
• etc….etc

Basically every hole is a new game!

The league will have a four week preseason starting on April 21…The regular season wil last 18 weeks beginning on May 19th. There will be weekly winners…period winners (three periods @six weeks per period), and an overall winner.
